Documentation Manager – Equipment Finance

Commercial Funding Partners (CFP) is seeking an experienced Documentation Manager with at least 5 years of experience in commercial equipment lease and finance documentation.

This position is for an experienced documentation professional who understands how to take a transaction from credit approval through documentation, closing, and funding. You’ll work directly with CFP’s credit, sales, and operations teams on equipment financing transactions ranging from traditional middle-market financings to complex, multi-million-dollar transactions.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and manage commercial equipment lease and finance documentation
• Review credit approvals and ensure documents accurately reflect approved terms
• Coordinate documentation with customers, vendors, sales, credit, and funding partners
• Manage transactions through execution, closing, and funding
• Review executed documents for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate UCC filings, insurance, guarantees, and other closing requirements
• Assist with credit line and portfolio management
• Maintain transaction files and documentation standards
• Support complex transactions involving multiple vendors, equipment schedules, and customized structures

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of direct experience in equipment finance or leasing documentation is required.

The ideal candidate will have experience with equipment finance agreements, leases, schedules, amendments, assignments, UCC filings, guarantees, insurance requirements, and commercial transaction closings.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and capable of independently managing multiple transactions and deadlines.
