A Letter From Our Founder

CFP was founded in 2012 with a clear and deliberate purpose. I saw a need for a private credit firm built on partnership. A partnership that prioritizes the needs of customers first, funding sources second, and the bottom line last. That principle has guided every decision we’ve made since day one.

From the beginning, my goal was to create more than a financing company. I wanted to build a place where people could do meaningful work, feel proud of where they work, and believe in the value of the products and solutions they provide. Too often, organizations are driven by individual motivations rather than the needs of the collective. At CFP, we’ve chosen a different path. One centered on collaboration, shared success, and long-term relationships.

That commitment has resonated. Since our founding, we’ve earned the trust and support of banks, institutional partners, and service providers who believe in our model and stand behind our credit facilities, documentation, and operational infrastructure. More importantly, it has allowed us to better serve our customers.

Our slogan, “Lessors Funding Profitable Growth,” reflects our core mission: helping our customers fund their success. By maintaining a customer-first mindset, we’ve seen growth beyond what we initially imagined. Over the past several years, we’ve scaled thoughtfully to meet increasing demand while staying true to the values that defined CFP from the start.
