In May of this year, as a member of the Capitol Connections Committee, we were able to visit both Utah Senate Members and several house representatives to advocate for our industry. There are many movements federally that are looking to restrict the industry. The intentions are good, but in practice, the regulations of Rule 1071 make business cumbersome for both the customer and finance company. The equipment leasing industry creates prosperity for businesses worldwide.
“Our industry grows with American Business.” Says Buddy Zarbock, President of Commercial Funding Partners, “We do our best with our teams to fuel that growth. Each finance company has its niche. I would like to think that CFP has the best people out there, but we can help other companies too. I am proud to serve in this capacity to help the industry. Serving on the ELFA Capitol Connections Committee creates a rising tide that lifts all boats.”
ELFA member participation in the political process is critical so that policymakers will hear the united voice for our industry and understand how current policy issues will affect the equipment leasing and finance industry.
